An internalized capability that an AI has, rather than an instruction it receives per-interaction. Where a Prompt tells the AI what to do, a Skill represents what the AI knows how to do without being told. Skills are not yet in use at Valis — this term is defined to ensure seamless integration when developers begin building Agents with embedded capabilities.
